Had to stop and get a picture of the house I grew up in. The people who we sold to in 1968 still live there, saw me taking pictures, and invited me in. My bedroom was in the dormer. Blast from the past.

Here is another one. This is in a dredged channel over 20' feet deep. This is another log stuck in the bottom that would not be exposed at all tides. Not a problem for the Ocean Harmony, but my propeller would not like it.

I came across quite a few of these. This isn't a piling, it is a log that is stuck into the bottom of the middle of the river. I scanned it with my sonar. It is 24 feet deep here and it is stuck at this angle, so it is at least a 60 foot tree. The tide is low. At other levels it would be right below the surface.

I bought crab here back in the day. They also sold lutefisk during the holidays. Local legend is that it was once a tavern where sailors were "Shanghaid". It is kind of hard to see in this picture, but the snag is 600 yards off shore. The difference in the water surface is because there is a spit that extends out that far. It is two feet deep where the snag is and 25 feet deep a few feet out from the snag.
