Intake manifold carbs Silencer Assy. You must remove this entire assembly to disassemble the carbs. It is easy to take out the nine bolts holding the intake to the head.

Carb-viewed-from-bottom-with bowl-cover-removed: Below brass cap screw in center lies main nozzle and emulsifier tube (slow jet). Two other jets unscrew for inspection and cleaning. Float has been removed.

Main-Nozzle- showing broken and eroded end; Guessing that this was caused by previous rebuilder forcing nozzle out with a screwdriver.
