Back at the boat late Monday afternoon. Sometimes it almost seems windier inside Eagle harbor than out in the sound. I think the wind from the North gets caught by the island, then funneled down into the harbor.

Arrived at Eagle Harbor relatively early on Monday, but already a couple of buoys had freed up. A voluntary no-anchor bay to help restore the eelgrass, its best to use the buoys here.

Happy to be leaving Shallow Bay on Monday morning. Got knocked around all night by rolling swells coming in from Georgia Strait. Possibly one of the bounciest nights I've spent aboard, and one of the reasons I prefer the buoys in this relatively exposed bay, although the anchored boats were fine.
