Deserted Bay hadn't been deserted for too long. There was still an aluminum gang plank to a float covered with heron crap, otter puke, and flies. Nice. At the head of the bay was an outfall culvert that provided a very cold shower.

After Powell River, I headed for Skookumchuk Narrows and Sechelt Rapids. This is Sechelt from inside the inlet. A few small standing waves 30 minutes before slack.
