6/29/2012. Homemade buoy latch on my anchor line in the "captured" position. Anchor/chain to the left and hangs on the latch after pulling the anchor. Latch is made from a nylon boat cleat with the base cut off.

7/22/12 Painted cowling to repair the peeling gray paint. Used black "rattle can" bedliner spray; 3 coats.
6/29/2012 pulling buoy snap about to be "captured". I have used this for 25 yrs and it has only failed to latch maybe 6 or 8 times out of many hundreds of pulls.
6/29/2012 A carved model of my old 22' CD. Carved in Beaufort, SC. My brother sent it for my birthday several yrs. ago. Boat is about 14" long.
