I was at the boat show the other day.... and I went to the C Dory exhibit. On the back of the of one of the boats there was a bar that had a table attached to it. And I was wondering if anybody knew where I can get one for my boat?

Burnewiin makes that table, a company in White Salmon in Washington State, see the link below:

There is a name on the back of the table you pictured. That is "Burnewin". Do a Google search, and you will find their website. That will give you a way to purchase what you want.

The bar is custom made-and there are all sorts of ways to put a bar across the C Dory splashwell. Either have one fabricated ($$$) or use your ingenuity and come up with a way to do it cheap.

Like you, I've been considering rigging up a table and have been researching the options. I have two Burnewiin stainless gunwale mounts, and they're pricey but nice. I use the gunwale mounts for multi-function rod, downrigger, and crap pot puller holders.

A slightly more budget friendly table option might be a Magma table attached to the Burnewiin mounts and bases.

We installed the large Burnewin Table on the TomCat between the stern railings and even added a dingy motor mount to it. They are built very well, worth the money.
There are pics of on page two of our album.

Burnewinn - expensive but worth the investment. I made a temporary kayak rack for use with it when cruising.

For a much less expensive transom table check out photo #13 in Widget's album.

I'm going to start looking around but it's the bar that I think is going to be most useful. Then I'll be able to clamp anything I want on it. I was hoping that something would have been made already. Thanks for the tips!.

Some C-Brats have pieced together a rail using off-the-shelf components. I just bought some railing sections and fittings from LFS / Go2Marine to build a roof/kayak rack, and the tubing is fairly sturdy.

https://www.go2marine.com/shop-all-categories/maintenance-and-hardware/boat-hardware/deck-hardware/handrails-and-rail-fittings

At a glance, the following components might work depending on your use case:

Tubing: https://www.go2marine.com/Stainless-Steel-Tube-7-8-and-1-Diameter-Sold-by-the-Foot
Hinges: https://www.go2marine.com/sea-dog-top-mount-deck-hinges-stainless-steel-90-degrees
Tubing Ends: https://www.go2marine.com/Sea-Dog-Top-Fittings-Stainless-Steel-1-4-Pin

If you go that route, make sure you get the by-the-foot Morse Industries tubing. The Taco tubing is flimsy in comparison.
