Byrdman-- boat looks great, if it dosen't polish out to your expectations look into re-gel-coating instead of painting, I have done both and have been a lot happier with the gel-coat process, especially if you are going to keep the boat for any lenght of time. See you in Maryland-----Rich

I like this C-Dory history too.......
Dug out some old C-Dory sales sheets I have, It lists a 1991 Johnson 70, with manual T&T at $4000, installed on boat.
There was a 19' Angler offered in 1991 for $15,800, and a opional rear cabin bulkhead for $1000. That's neat.
The 22' Cruiser was $18,800.
Optional fuel systems were....
36 Gal. $450.
58 Gal. $600. Wonder what that looked like.
A 1992 price sheet list a 70 hp Johnson still @ $4000.
Don't have a 1993 price for a 70 hp Johnson, but of interest is a
Heater, 4000 BTU Kerosene forced air, by Wallas......$850!! What a deal!
Canvas Bulkhead for a 19' Angler, $275
1994, now it reads, 70 hp Johnson, installed price, $4600. later in the year,$4765, and for power T&T, $5650
The 19' was no longer offered, and a 22' Cruiser went for $20,900.
I would gess a 1985 70 hp Johnson went for around $3600.
Also, C-Dory listed a line of open skiffs, in 8', 10' a very nice looking boat, a 12', 14', 16', and a 17footer. They all had the C-Dory molded in lap strake topsides just like the bigger boats do. I would like to see C-Dory bring these boats back, I want a little boat to row around locally, and be able to carry in the back of the pickup truck. Am looking at Gig Harbor Boats Works, nice looking boats, but $$$$$$!

Yea Buck.... a lot of history with some of our boats...

Wonder if any have had that Peter Max look from the 60s?? Can yall hear Inagadanaveda Baby by Iron Butterfly in the background??? All 17:03 of her??? Well... crank it up and take a look at C-Byrd.... Flashback during her retro work... This boat has some stories to share I am sure.

Will attempt to do the cut-n-paste thing from the C-Byrd photo albums, inside of FreeByrd photo album... Lets see....

Man...between your whinin' on the home page and your beggin' here, you better be a dang fine hog cook.

Next thing you know, you'll be showing us your tattered shoes with toes stickin' out the end...should we get you a nice cup, an organ and a monkey? Mr. Green

Fixed, good buddy...

Hidie-Ho Byrdman,
The C-Byrd looks great in her prom garb, but tell me...is she going with the re-gelcoat or the paint man? Is she having her bottom sides done to match her topsides work? Are you sure you are going to get her back....any time soon? Lots of Questions....How much are you willing to pay to see your baby become Prom Queen when it gets right down to it?
Very Happy

Byrdman – your boat is starting to look really good. Also, looks like it snowed in Florida or somebody got a lot of overspray on the ground.

I assume it is just white sand but looking at the picture it does look like a light dusting of snow.
