We sold our house in Va. and are going to move to Wa. next month. We'll be looking to rent a house so we can take our time looking for a home to buy, or build. will probably need a place to store the 22' C-Dory for a wile, any one tell me where I can find secure boat storage. We don't know where we will be out there yet, but north of Seattle, near Bellingham maybe?
Thanks, Buck.....

Buck,

We store our boat at Twin Bridges Marina. It's just west of Mount Vernon on the way to Anacortes, about an hour and 15 minutes from Seattle (in good traffic). It's worked out well for us, it's clean, dry and secure, plus they're adding lots of security cameras as we speak. They will also gas up the boat for you. I know several other C-Dorys are stored there, many of them C-Brats. And the cost is reasonable.

Peter

Hi Buck -

You are welcome to store your C-Dory in our pasture behind the barn until you find a place and decide where you want to keep it. We live on Whidbey Island, on the South End - easily accessible by ferry (~$40 truck & trailer if I remember correctly) from the mainland or drive around the north end without a ferry. There aren't many good places to launch from here, the ramps are pretty limited but it might work just for storage 'till you get settled
