I installed the same brand in my present boat, but it was the 50 or 60 amp model. It has two presets for the flooded setting, I found that the resting float voltage ran a fair amount higher than the specification ( my memory was about 15.1 volts).
I used the "custom" setting ability to adjust the bulk and float settings. There was difference between digital display in the setting menu, and the actual output ( seems it was about .3 or .4 volts difference ).
Just check the output voltage that the presets are actually delivering.
Otherwise, it is a nice unit. _________________ Cdory 22 Angler

A float voltage of 15.1 would damage batteries in short order--sounds almost more like an equalization voltage. _________________ Bob Austin

Is that in the water heater cabinet? The whole project did take way more time than anticipated when I installed mine. I also reworked the batteries, ACR and switch cabling at the same time. Lots of time laying on the deck but well worthit
so far. |

Thanks for the heads up.
My output voltage shown on the charger is the same as what is shown on my Balmer smart battery meter. The ProNautic has a 5 year guarantee. I think that I would arrange to have the unit repaired if it did not work correctly. Of course if it’s out of warranty....... you have a good work around.

Yes...it’s in the water heater cabinet. Did you put yours somewhere else? I did not put in an ARC.....yet. Need to save a few projects for the future.

No, its in the same cabinet but I turned the water heater sideways and to the back to gain a little bit more of storage room. |
