Hi Folks,
Just food for thought.
I am someday getting a Radar, especially if I cruise Maine.
When I went up the Charles River to go to Watertown for Pizza, I had only about 3 inches clearance under the North Station Railroad Bridge. Wanting to go to strange places, I would have to have a rack that would fold forward so that when it is folded over the front window, the clearance would be increased by only the width of the piping. Then I could still go to Watertown for Pizza, and other places.

Just an idea.

Great point, MFN - some of the gang ran into this during the Snohomish River Cruise earlier this year.

Reminds me of one of the classics...one free month of C-Brat membership to the first who ID's the following:

We have clearance, Clarence.

Roger, Roger.

What's our Vector, Victor?

Wait just a minute. How does a month cost and who do I send my check to? Do you take Mastercard or Visa? Sally lost her Gold Mastercard about a month ago but apparently the lady that found it is charging less than she did Smile so I haven't reported it yet. Sounds reasonable to me... Crook

Cheers- "Airplane" was a satire/comedy/spoof of several serious movies, such as "Airport" and "Airport '77", or something like that. It's a classic, made up of hundreds of one-liners. You can watch it severl times over and discover lines you missed while laughing so hard the first time. Joe.

Gary,
I know a lot of knowledgable guys go for tandem axles, but I can give you my experience. When I bought the Hunky Dory the factory, Mark Toland, said "stick with single axles", His reasoning was the frame and construction of a single was heavier than a tandem . At least the EZ loader was. I have pulled the Hunky Dory well over 60,000 miles. Three trips well down into Mexico. Several trips to Florida, which is 3000 miles from here in Montana. I am on my second set of tires is all. I carry two spares mounted on the trailer. One is on a free turning spindle on the front hitch bar. It can be used to run trailer across the sand by hand than winch it back up off the beach. I have found it is plenty adequate for a 22 ft. C-Dory. Much cheaper to replace two than four. Just another side of the coin to think about.
