Heaters???? Any Eden Pure Owners Out There?

Anyone ever used one of these eden pure heaters? Heard a Paul Harvey gig on it, then saw it on another boating site. Those of us with inverters and/or shore power may have an option here without another liquid/propane fuel on board?????

Looking at the ad, it's an electric heater built around a infrared quartz tube heating element, with the heat spread by "cured" (annealed?) copper. I would guess that it takes 1500 watts input. I can get a cheaper electric heater than $449 (on sale.) Please note that warm air (and moisture) rises since it expands and thus has less density than colder air. This heater can't beat that.

And, No, I didn't have anything better to do this morning.

Yes the specs say 1500 watts
