I'm one of the guys who bought the larger tanks to replace the original(grey) 18 gallon Tempos. I haven't installed them(yet) so I don't know what they really hold. I just read the info stamp and they're Moeller, 25 gallon capacity, manufactured 11/11/2004. I picked them up 1/21/05 at the factory during the Seattle Boat Show. They had a pallet-load of them. I sure hope they hold 25 gallons for what they charged me ! They started offering the fiberglass panels sometime later that year to replace the "Starboard" ones. At first they lacked the viewing slot. Then an industrious C-Brat slotted his panels and the factory followed suit. I picked up a pair of slotted panels at the 2006 S.B.S.. _________________ Pete

I stand corrected, Mac is right. On our 2005 CD22, we have two 20 gallon tanks and a 6 gallon portable tank, for a total of 46 gallons. The next year increased to 50 gallons. |

Coho is a 2003 boat and has two, 25+ gallon tanks. I verified this by filling each tank and marking 5 gallon points as they filled. I do fill each to 25 gallons and have some space left over. At some point shortly after 2003 C-Dory switched to 20 gallon tanks because of pinhole leaks issues with the 25 gallon tanks and then again switched back to 25 gallon tanks after the quality control issues were worked out with the tank supplier a few years later. I am glad I have 50 gallons of tank capacity aboard my 22 Cruiser! I will also carry two 6 gallon plastic gas can between my main tanks for 62 gallons of fuel onboard for longer weekend trips.

That is really strange.... I have filled my tanks after running them dry... and I just can't ....no way...get 50 gallons into them..and I am sure they were totally dry on the bottoms....... most I have ever gotten is 46 gallons into the two tanks..... I have a 2003 boat...
