My wife Lisa and I are now the proud owners of a 16 Angler. We named her Alcita after the stout little seabirds (Spanish for auklet). Alcita was formerly Denebola owned by Wheeler Dealer, then by Cdlas and is still in great shape. We give her the the same TLC as her previous owners obviously did.
We will primarily fish the Lower Columbia. We will also sneak outside from Tillamook, Depoe and Newport on the decent days. We make an annual trip to the Gulf of California in Baja, but this will be the heaviest boat we have ever launched off the beach.
Alcita now has a Racor fuel filter. We are in the process of updating the electronics to a Garmin 498 chartplotter and 50/200 DF sounder. We are still deciding on a radio and are likely going with I-com IC-M304 with either a Digital or Shakespeare antennae.
Info gleaned on C- brats has been extremely helpful both for the purchase and for the subsequent outfitting. Many thanks to all who keep C-brats so organized and accessible.
Viva la C-brats!

Troy & Lisa - Welcome aboard.
Glad to have you as members to this great group of boat owners.
Hope to cross paths in the future. There is usually a CBGT in the Spring at Cathlamet. Keep watch for it and if you can make it, we will have a chance to meet. I have not made the Cathlamet gathering in previous years (last year my boat was in two pieces) but this year I will definitely make, if there is one.
There is also the Seattle Boat Show/CBGT that is always fun and the biggest gathering of the year.
