Thanks for the generous offer Jon. It sounds like more fun to actually be learning by doing, than sitting in a classroom for 8 hours.
Lyle

Not only will you enjoy the time with Jon but you will also have an extra 85.00$ to spend on a pole or reel....lol...

this falls into the "why didn't I do this sooner" catagory, I got a fish bag from Boaters World. This thing is an insulated 22"x 66" vinyl bag ya throws yer fish in. I'll hang it across the back of the cockpit and leave the big cooler in the truck....it will be so nice to not have to dance around that cooler during the netting frenzy Smile

Lot's of good advice here Lyle Wink. I agree with not spending alot on the pole and making sure you have a quality reel.

Thought I'd chime in on other necessities like; a nice big net, don't skimp here, nothin' worse than losin' that trophy cuz you had a cheap and/or small one. A good hook release tool for letting those natives go without taking them out of the water. A safety ladder for those unexpected Jaque Cousteau (sp) moments. Digital camera for postin' pictures for the Pub to see.

Jon
