I just wanted to congratulate Ranger Tugs for having one fine customer service rep. I Just bought a 25 Ranger and like any boat there were some problems. All of my issues were taken care of within 24 hours after speaking with Andrew. Not only did he promptly return my calls but sent me everything I needed overnight. I have never been more satisfied in dealing with a company. I have purchased many boats on a much grander scale and have had just the opposite treatment, so when I was treated so well I just wanted to say thanks. I'm sure anyone who has a problem with their boat will be real glad Ranger has such a competent person on staff.
Thanks again Andrew _________________ Dick von Roth

That is great to hear! We are waiting delivery on our r-25 in August. Sounds like we picked the right company to deal with.
Any tips on what we should look for/double check when we get our tug? _________________ C-Ranger R25

Good luck with your new boat i have had mine just a little over a week, I would try to get some rough drawing of where your systems are located I have heard the company is working on some formal prints but in the meantime it can save you some time to know where certain items are found. Im sure Andy can help you with this. Again good luck with your new boat |

Andrew - we are really glad you landed at Ranger! You were our "go to" guy at C-Dory on our CD25, and as Ranger Jeff knows, we may not be entirely out of the Ranger hunt ourselves! I think the world of the Livingstons, Jeff and you! Best of luck on everything!

What me worry?
We on the Mrs Dee feel the same way. They stuck with us all the way on the shake down cruise. I could imagine how it could be if the dealer as well as a factory were not so attentive. C-Dory and Ranger Tug both have been a pleasure to deal with. I would drive across the country to deal with Wefing Marine (Marc Grove) anytime. We were not without problems but at every turn of the creek they were there. I have always said " buy new from a reputable company that stands behind the products." It takes away the worry and the costs. Before leaving for the Bahamas the next season we will sign up for Sea Tow. An other great organization.
Anyone familiar with the NRA endorsed Medical air program for $79.00 a year. $100 for the whole family? Sounds really good to me. I'm wondering whether they would bring the boat back home from the Bahamas. I know they would from anywhere in North America. By driving camper and boat home after flying home the family.

Well life couldnt be better at Ranger Tugs. When I received the phone call to work I was all over the opportunity. The fact of the matter is that I love working with people and I did'nt get to do enough of it at C-dory. When I was offered the Customer Service Manager position I couldnt have been more excited. This is what I have wanted to do for a very long time. I hope to hear alot more good things and cant wait to start working with a couple more of my favorites. (Pat & Patty) I hope to see you at the factory soon! |

Let me add a more current item.
Earlier this week, we launched at Olympia, WA, for a two or three day cruise depending on the weather. It was late in the day so we planned to stay overnight at Swantown Marina and get off early the next day. We had a problem with the boat soon after settling down in the marina but too late to reach the service folks at Lake Union Sea Ray (left message). I called Jeff. He called Andrew and left a message. A couple hours later, Andrew called me and arranged to come to Olympia in the morning. Which he did, quickly fixed the problem and we were on our way. Even better - while there - he took the time to answer a bunch of questions and explain some things that I was unsure of. Great job!!!!
This young man is going to be a great asset to the Ranger company for a long time to come. Kudos to Jeff for recognizing a need and taking care of it. Hopefully this will free him up to continue to do the great job he is doing and still have a life of his own.
As an aside, compliments to Aaron, Service Manager, at Lake Union Sea Ray who called later that night after picking up my message to offer help.
Good people make a good product better. _________________ Old Dog

Old Dog - as I posted earlier, Aaron at LUSR took very good care of us too on the scupper replacement and a couple of other upgrades on Daydream. Between / among Jeff, Andrew and Aaron, you are in VERY good hands! |

WE have not taken delivery on our tug yet, but Andrew is already giving us great customer service.
Great tug, great company.
As an asside, has anyone read the new Passagemak magazine? They cover another 26 footer that costs over $200,000! I have to say, the C Ranger is a lot better............
