Does the direction of the rotation of the kicker motor LH vs RH matter?
It would be a 15HP kicker going on a bracket on the left side of the transom of a 22 angler. |

To my knowledge there is not an outboard under 100 HP that is manufactured with LH rotation, so that eliminates any choice in the matter even if it created a significant problem.
