Hello'
I just saw a add for the new 75/90 honda engines ,
electronic ignition
fuel injection
no more carbs and a different power head and they look a little smaller than the older models . I looked on line but all the honda site shows is the older models. Has anyone seen the weight and such on these? Just wondering how much they have improved and how much weight they shaved off from the older models . Looked on Les's site nada , maby they are waiting for the boat show. I guess they had to do something as they were getting a little dated.
Richard
P.S. got our power back last night at 6:30 pm been out since thursday midnight. Hope you get yours soon Oldgrowth. |

Unc'
Les has already been to school on the new one and I think they have all kinds of literature. I'll prod him a bit to get something on the net. They shaved off a whole bunch of weight, and Les was really impressed with that newfangled gadget!! Oh well, my carbs sure work fine

hope you have better luck than i have.
purchased 2 150s and delv oct 14-2006
cannot register because of documents.
12-20-06 situation remains the same.
certificate of orgin-very simple as i have to produce every day for my export shipments.
what documents that were received had incorrect serial numbers.
called honda:
asked for senior mgr. john fulcher-seems to be in hiding.
next stop tokyo-Takeo Fukui -ceo- maybe i will get lucky in march.
his office has replied.
good luck

c- dory factory builds a great boat. (factory)
wefings marine has been great. (dealer)
my problem is with honda usa.
how would you like to take delivery on oct. 14th 2006?
then next day in order to register boat in state of texas have all documents as certificate of orgin.
however you are advised from honda that one of the engines documents were incorrect and we have to get from japan.
at this point i will not be legal and also face fines if on water.
to this day 12-17-06 i have no documents from honda.
also penalty for state sales tax beyond 20 day max of delivery.
800.00.
thanks for any advice.
