I can vouch for how neat it looks. I had a chance to see it up close and personal this last weekend while cruising to Nashville. it is a great Idea _________________ Roger on the "SENSEI"

You must have missed my question of "did you just overlay the factory table?" If not, what was your preparation of the table before the tile went down.?? _________________ David and Kate

David, sorry, I had replied to your question on page 1 but it is not that noticeable. We put the tiles on the orginal factory table. We sand scuffed the table first. We then applied the tiles with Liquid Nails. Like I had said, we used sandless grout but would use silcone for any future project of this nature as we scratched the tiles.

Thanks Rick, Just wanted to be clear on how you did this. Your new table is very nice and I am thinking through how I may want to do something similar. Thanks for the thought about the grout. |
