I have a Honda BF 75 and noticed that it wouldn't start unless I move the shifter in and out of gear. Does anyone else have that problem? Is it a sensor issue? |

Jeff,
Outboard motors are required (by US Coast Guard) to have 'start in gear' protection. (Starts in neutral only)
Most motors have the 'neutral start safety switch' installed in the remote control.
I would look for either a bad switch or an 'out of adjustment' problem. _________________ Larry H
