Furuno customer service

I have a Furuno chart card for my 1650 machine that went bonkers. The local dealer said to bring in the card and the machine and they would send it to Furuno, me thinks bung that as the Furuno US HQ is just across the county, I'll take it there. I droped it off this morning and got called back this afternoon to come pick up my stuff. They updated the software in the machine and tested & replaced the chart card...no charge.
What really impressed me was that out of this building they deal with bjilion dollar customers and yet they treat some smuck off the street like they where their only customer. The receptionist told me this morning to have a seat and she would call somebody up, I didn't even have time to pick up a magazine, and they had some good ones, before a guy was there with a clipboard. Same story when I came back to pick the stuff up, I may go back tomorrow just to read the magazines.

I had similar experienced with Furuno when I took in my plotter/sounder.
I need to take in my spare radar now to have it looked at.

Sooner or later I am gomma get me one of their Navnet systems.
You just can't beat the service...

Damn Dan Dogon Dory, now I feel bad, but I'll bet there's some IslamoFacists that are happy about not meeting Allah.
Navnet would be nice but I'm knee deep in old technology that works good, I think I'll wait until they come out with the heads up display that is projected onto the windshield.
