|
|
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the height of the 16ft cruiser when it's loaded on the trailer. I know the specs say the boat itself is 69 inches tall. I want to know if it will fit in my garage with a standard sized garage door when it's on the trailer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

It won't fit if you have a standard height garage door.
Use the search - it's been discussed before. I don't recall for certain, but I think I recall 8' being the minimum height. Don't forget about length, either - outboards and the trailer tongue add quite a bit. _________________

On this thread Wheeler Dealer give 68" as the height to the top of the grab rails on the trailer. Too tall for a std. 7' garage door but will fit in some garages.

When I had my 16' Cruiser on its' EZ Loader (Roller) trailer the height was 7' 4" tall. The length on the trailer with the 50 HP outboard in the "down" position was 20' 6" long.
(P.S. The height, if I included the Go-Light that I had mounted on the roof and the GPS on the roof was an even 8'). (Pictures of my former 16' may still be viewed in my photo album). _________________ Dave S.

Perhaps that's off the trailer? Otherwise, I'd think it would fit fine under a 7' door.
Here's the post I was thinking of...Lyle's 16 fits under his 8' doors with 4" to spare. He also mentions the overall length (20' 5") for his 16.
Also, I think Lyle has a roller trailer - not sure if bunks would reduce the height requirement or not. |

I was wondering as well if the bunks would reduce the height over the rollers. Again thanks a million for the posts |

Wheelzman,
"C-Pup 16" in Los Angeles has managed to squeeze his 16' Cruiser into his garage by modifying his garage door height entryway. If you look on the member list, you can locate him and send him an e-mail and find out all the intricacies of how he managed it. |

I would suspect they would. Someone on this site would know for sure. |
