Hello to all C-brats,
I have owned a 22 footer since 2004. All in all I'am happy with the boat and I surely enjoy this most informative site.
I did replace the front roller and its bracket as a miss of centerline while loading could produce damage to hull via the exposed bracket. My Duluth dealer sent a 12 inch wide roller with bracket that can not do damage.
I also had a problem with the block of wood that supports the throttle handle. It kept getting loose even after contorting (under captains seat) to tighten three undersized screws that held the block in place. At one point the block just fell over while my wife was driving it. I got a wider screw to replace the three less than adequate ones...too much leverage applied to throttle for it not to be secured properly.
One question on hull damage. A brother drove my boat for me on a 200 mile run and ran into patches of road repair with loose gravel. Without realizing it he put 100's of ding's in the hull and even up on the sides. My fault for not having a good and large mud flap. These dings are hard to look at...is there a way to rub them out with a compound or should it go to the shop? May have to take it in for two 24 inch 1/16 deep scratches that a hit and run put in the side of the hull while in a slip. Looks like it came from a front mounted anchor. Overall is it best to protect the gel coat damage (clear nail polish recommended) until one can afford to take it to the shop? Or are these do it yourself blemishes?

My 22 received some nasty gouges from unwanted contact with the trailer during launch and retrieval. I was able to repair them using the original gel coat color. The most difficult part of the job is working at akward angles on the hull or lying on one's back to reach the hull bottom. There is a thread that covers the topic and all the methods needed to accomplish the task. Try a search for hull repair or gel coat repair and all the info you need will be there.
