Factory Specs?

I was asked today how many people the 22 Cruiser can hold legally. How much total weight, etc.

I looked at the factory website and do not see anything listed.

I reckon there is a plate on my boat that lists capacities, but the boat is 500 miles away right now.

Can someone fill in the blanks for me?

The plate on mine (2005 C Dory 22) only specifies max HP (100). No mention of carrying capacities

When I pick the boat up I will need to register it in PA. They require information as far as carrying capacity, people capacity, etc. I believe.

Al,

The US Coast Guard only requires a capacity plate on boats under 20 feet.

The factory plate is optional on the 22 or 25 and is for maximum horsepower for the warranty and insurance.

Being on the left coast, I don't know about Pennsylvania rules.

Just heard from the dealer. The factory specs say 6 people or 1,000 lbs.
