Keep me in mind Alain. I don't know if I could pull it off this year, but you did peak my interest a little bit with our conversation earlier. And just out of curiosity, where would we launch from and how long would we stay out? Colby |

This group can provide info on the drive down there.
Mica Curtice is also very knowledgeable on this subject and a competent boater and builder of boats. He is on this site but you may have more luck contacting him on facebook. I believe he was planning another trip there - not sure when.

Colby, Looking forward to go fishing together, whenever you are ready!
Rob,I should clarify my post. I was not looking for information, I am not driving down the Baja way, i tow straight down from Tucson to San Carlos, Sonora, store the truck and trailer and launch there, cross over to Baja, refuel and head South to La Paz. It is a trip have been doing pretty much every year for the last 30 years in sail or power boats. My post was simply asking if anyone was thinking of a Mexico cruise this fall and/or winter. Thanks for your quick response anyway.
Bob, Vagabundos del Mar is a great outfit, I get my truck and boat insurance through them every year |
