My dream is to get a 25’ C-Dory to do the Loop and go to the Bahamas and some fishing. My wife has had a couple rounds of breast cancer and I am unable to purchase a C-Dory due to the medical debt we have accumulated. Is there some type of miracle/dream program that y’all know that can help us get help financially? I have always loved boating since my father had a Sylvan fishing boat while I was in my teens. |

Bob is not wrong. I have found the most expensive part of boating wasn't in buying the boat, but it was in everything else going along with it. There is just always something to fix, upgrade, and just the dang gas these days!
I'm very sorry about your wife and the ensuing medical bills, but I'm also happy she is one of the survivors. I wish you the best of luck on this endeavor. |

I would place an ad asking for someone to take you with them, offer to pay gas/hotels. Deal with the dept first before buying a C-Dory 25, they cost a lot to maintain and run in comparison to a 22 or similar. |
