Hi all! I know this isn’t directly c dory related but I am in a pickle at the moment and figured I would reach out to the community for help. I am in the process of possibly buying a drift boat in the next few days and unfortunately the place I thought I could store it fell through (my buddies wife vetoed the idea). I was curious if any c brats in the greater Bellingham area/mt Vernon or even beyond has any space for storage, even if just temporary. A little bit about me, I have grown up around a c dory for the last 11 years (it belongs to my father but I do most of the upkeep), and slowly learned how to run it myself. This drift boat will be my first real boat purchase. I am a student at Western Washington University and incoming president of the university’s fly fishing club. One of the reasons I want to get a drift boat is so I can take new anglers on the water, teach them how to fish and give them access to rivers and lakes that can only be fished well from a boat. Being a college student, I don’t have a huge budget but I would love any and all offers. I don’t need covered storage and the boat is 15 feet long so I imagine with the trailer it will come in around 20 feet.
Thank you all for reading,
Joe |

I have room overlooking the Methow in Carlton if you want to fly fish over on the dry side. Hwy 20 should be open soon. Not very close to you but could be a short to medium term solution. Safe from human problems. We do get mice and wildfire, though drift boats are easy to move and not so great a home for mice as a cdory or a camper! Any chance to do a cbrat a favor is welcome. -Nigel |

i live in marysville and have a parking lot area . I could let you keep it here in exchange for a few fly fishing trips for me and the wife. PM me, I have 6 boats here now. 5 are mine and 1 other c dory. _________________ Thomas J Elliott

Wow, this community never ceases to amaze me. I bought the boat yesterday (I’m sure this will be the first of many throughout my lifetime) and decided to pay for a local storage spot for the month despite the higher cost while I figure out registration and getting her cleaned up. I may take one of you up in the future though, and again, I can’t say how much I appreciate the hospitality. I’ll be at the Friday harbor get together this weekend, and if you’re going to be there Tom, I want to here about your fleet! |
