Susan was digging in her sewing room and found the patterns for carpeting the walls and ceiling of a 22 cruiser. If anyone wants them to use and then pass them on just speak up and we will send them to you. Makes cutting out the material so easy. We were given these by Ruthy and Joe.

Tom and Susan, Thanks for the memory. That was a long time ago.
Oh, my goodness! Had totally forgotten about those patterns! Have done the
V-berths of two more C-Dory's since then.

Word of caution when applying aerosol glue to ceiling of V-berth be sure to wear head/hair protection. Glue tends to stick to hair if one bumps their head. Don't ask how I know......

I'll make them available when I'm done with them.

What kind of carpet was used with these patterns?

Thanks.

I just used a very short nylon carpet. Like you would use in some lake boats for the floor. It was just to keep the moisture off the walls. But first we used them to glue down insulation to the walls. Spray or roll on contact cement worked great. Over size cut everything about a half inch then trim to size after each peice is glued down. Spray the area you are going to place the material. Then spray the material also. Let both dry for about 5 mins or so then place the material. If you only spray one surface it will not stick as well. We got all the insulation put in and let it dry for a day then went back and did the next layer. It was a world of different in moisture, warmth, sound and just not waking from a dead sleep because you rolled over and slapped a cold wet wall with your ass cheek.
