The new 2007 has two swim steps installed. Instead of removing one to add a kicker I was thinking of a swim step bracket. Anyone know the water depth from the swim platform to the water? Need to figure out if a long shaft is going to be needed. Does anyone have a kicker mounted to the swim step? Any issues? Push comes to shove might have to remove one. |

Dessert First mounted one of these on the swim platform using green removable stainless pull pins. The job was very well done as the drilled holes were oversized and filled with epoxy and the pins had fender washers. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Garelick-Mount-Platform-Horizontal-71078-01/32921438
With this arrangement, a short shaft outboard world be perfect. _________________ Steve Baum
