Nice pic... amazing how much 3' changes the entire boat.

Is that the external Garmin GPS antenna on the port forward corner of the roof? It's NMEA 2000? Have you found it makes a big difference over the built in GPS in your chart plotter? I've been curious if it'd make a significant difference given we have a fiberglass roof, etc.

Actually there are two Garmin pucks there and they are both NMEA 0183. I have a 2006C and a 3210 that are years old but still work just fine.

That 24" radar dome took over for the largest on a C-Dory when John on C-Lou retired his old Furuno. It was Garmin's first marine radar for consumers and my kid worked at a place that sold them getting me a good discount. But, like Dusty said at the time when folks were making fun of me - the bigger the array, the better the definition.

The 3' length wasn't the biggest difference to me when I switched from the CD22. The 10" extra beam took the most getting used to at the dock. That old boat has a lot of things that need to be fixed up but she still serves me well and with the new Suzi (just like Daydream's!) it will continue to serve me for the few more years I can trust myself to manage it safely. Then I will sell it as is and be content with what it brings.

The mid 1990's Cruise Ship 25 are great boats...Yours looks like new! I love the large dinette and bigger head than the current 25's. They all seem to be a little different. Thanks for sharing the photo.

Never need an excuse. I just finished polishing and waxing mine and have to fight the urge to share a pic. Keep telling myself that everyone on here has one of their own, they don't need to see mine! But they're such cool looking boats.

We've had some excellent weather here on the Chesapeake but mine is still at the boatyard getting a bimini and mooring cover made. The wait is brutal.

I love seeing pictures of other C-Dorys... no two are the same. I get a lot of ideas of what to do next on mine. I still have a long ways to go in terms of adding functionality.
