Hey Everyone,
Well after an absence of a year due to Uncle Sam's insisting that I travel afar to the land of sand, I have returned and once again cant be without a C-Dory. During the 2005 Seattle Boat show, the owners and factory representatives were just great in helping me purchase and set up the green 16' cruiser being shown. After taking delivery and soon finding out about my pending travels, "Rabbit's Hutch" was quickly sold and my bags were packed.
I am now located in Omaha, Nebraska...yes, I know, clearly in the middle of nowhere but my current duty station nonetheless.
Does anyone have a strong, local contact for a C-Dory dealer near-by? It's a rather simple purchase as I'm sure the factory still has all the info on last year's boat purchase of Rabbit's Hutch.
Looking forward to the assistance and hearing back from all you again.
Gary R.

I do not have a "strong" local contact but have heard good things from Northwest outlet in Superior Wi. 1-800 569-8142 talk to Dave. Closer is a dealer in St. Louis. If you go to the C-Dory factory web site you can scroll down and click on dealers for more info. Few are close to you.
Glad your home and thank you for your service and sacrifice. You clearly desierve a boat.
Good boat hunting!
Chris

Omaha to St Louis is a couple hundred miles each way shorer than my trip from Cleveland to Sister Bay WI back in '03. Up on Friday, including a stop at Camp Perry. Sea trials and back on Saturday. Easy trip, even for us old soldiers!
Freight is still the killer unless the dealer is ordering several boats on the same truck.
I continue to have second thoughts on our 16 Cruiser. It's fine for 2 of us, but adding a 3d person requires a deck chair in in the 2' long cockpit.
Since we've never overnighted in the boat, and probably never will I'm second guessing my choice of the Cruiser over the Angler. The extra 2' of cockpit doubles the room there and the boat is better balanced. Honda 50 with a 4 blade wheel works well too.
RLTW,
-- Chuck

It is great to be back. Somewhere in WA state, there is a husband/wife combo who purchased my 16' Rabbit's Hutch. He was a great guy. She was a tough and evil woman...ha ha. I suppose the only thing I can do is be sure I never again sell my next C-Dory.
I'm considering the 19 this time around. I simply cant afford the 22. Which, is fine, as all I do is day tripping with my schedule. The 19 should be a beamier and heavier boat.
I will be calling ST Louis and WI in the morning.
Again, thanks for the assistance.
