I just got home from Fort Richardson and it was indeed cold in Anchorage. Glad to be home in the banana belt...23 degrees, a couple feet of snow, and snow forcast for the next week.

Still havent had to wear a heavy coat yet this year!

Don and Mark:... Relax... Mr. Green No hidden thoughts or feelings... We were just feeling a bit overblessed to be out on a nice boat on a nice night enjoying a few nice beverages, ....when of course the urge to purge hit....and we went out into the cockpit to take a nice ..... Smile .. well .. you know. Just kinda pondering life and the life of our other boating friends...and a few minutes before had been talking about how cold it truly was in Alaska now..../then...... and my friend just thought it unfortunate that yall were all socked away indoors and you were not able to get out and enjoy yer boats as we were..... and for sure would not have been pulling out any "personal plumbing" in the outdoors of Alaska at this time.. Thumbs Down Thumbs Down Tux Tux

So, we did the next right thing.... laughed, mixed another one, went back out back and raised a toast to the moon and our C-Dory friends who for what ever reason are not able to be enjoying their boats tonight.... Here Here.. Cocktail Beer Cocktail Beer CoolSmile CoolSmile

Warmest in the past twenty years, and #8 for the long term record, here in the Denver area. This is our first CO winter and so far it doesn't seem much different from NV, and we have the same amount of sunshine this winter as NV. Now watch, that will bring down the wrath of winter ... but we'll shortly be out of here for San Diego.

There sure is more going on in the Fairbanks area than just cold -- this morning they had a tsunami warning. Imagine the tsunami wave that would threaten Fairbanks!! Actually, every city in the state received a warning -- a glitch in the system, it turned out.
