Does anybody know what the Tom Cat's draft is with the engines up?
I'm in the market for a new boat and seem to be drawn to the C-Dory's because of their shallow draft and Pilot House. As I spend more time here researching the wealth of information you guys have posted. I'm beginning to feel that the Tom Cat may be the perfect boat for me if it has a shallow draft. |

I have a TomCat 24 and she draws 14 inches with the engines in the up position. I don't know about the new 255TC but I believe it's not too that far off that number. In my opinion you can't go wrong cruising with either one of these cats in shallow or deep water. Cats are incredibly stable in all kind of seas.
Good luck in your search.

Thanks for the quick reply. That is indeed shallow for a 24 ft boat but not as shallow as I was hoping for. It looks like I will continue my focus on the 25 CD Cruiser. |
