She will be heading to Portland as soon as the outside calms down a bit and we have a clear path. A bit of mechanical work being completed and she'll be ready for import! Looking forward to dropping the hook soon.

That's a beautiful ship! Is this going to be a live-a-board? I could see myself doing something similar someday, or maybe just dreaming. Thanks for sharing.

Quite a bit different than a C-Dory...

I like the increased storage for beer an' stuff like that.

Not sure I'd like the harbor/dock handling in a blow.
Much experience with windage? How did you prep for
this eventual situation you will face in close quarters?

Living the American Dream: bigger, better, faster, more.

Aye.

Nice boat, congratulations. To partly answer the question, with twin screws and bow and stern thrusters, you should have excellent control of the boat in all circumstances. Just don't go stern to the beach! Very Happy

Twin screws wide apart and bow and stern thrusters. 40,000 moves more predictable than my 22’ with wind.

Bryrick, Hummmmm, I was going to say you need twins, but "My Heaven" has twins. You can do everything except move directly laterally, but your twins can get you into the same place, easily. (Yes, onto an upwind dock too.) CoolSmile
