HI ALL
IT HAS BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I HAVE HAD TIME TO POST TO THE SITE.
WE ARE NOW IN OUR NEW HOME AT COFFMAN COVE ALASKA. I WILL EXPLAIN IN FUTURE POSTS

IT IS A LONG STORY EXPLAINING MY ABSENCE FROM THE SITE. AS SOME OF YOU KNOW BOTH BETTY AND I WERE DEEPLY INVOLVED IN CARING FOR MY PARENTS. WE LOST DAD 4/5/2005 AND MOM 11/29/2005.
IN BETWEEN THE LOSSES WE SPENT THE SUMMER AT COFFMAN COVE ALASKA ON PRINCE OF WALES ISLAND.
YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THE FISHING HERE!!!! WE FELL IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE THE NATURAL BEAUTY, THE CRITTERS AND THE WONDER LOCAL PEOPLE.
TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT WE BOUGHT A PARTIALLY COMPLETED CABIN 9/2/05
WE RETURNED TO EUGENE OREGON SOLD OUR PLACE AND ARRIVED BACK ON THE ISLAND 10/16 AND STARTED BUILDING ON THE CABIN. WE GOT ELECTRICITY WATER AND SEWER IN LATE OCT AND THE ADDITION CLOSED IN. THE TELEPHONE IN EARILY NOV, WOOD STOVE INTO THE CABIN AT THANKSGIVING
SATALITE TV DEC 22 Xmas LOL

AND SATALITE INTERNET IN JAN 2006 Shocked

THE STIMPY IS STORED IN A FRIENDS BARN UNTIL SPRING AND WHEN WE GET THE CABIN FINISHED. WE ARE CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTING A SECOND ADDITION THAT IS 24 FT BY 26 FT. WHEN WE ARE FINISHED WE WILL HAVE 1248 SQ FT PLUS A 24 BY 26 FT GREENHOUSE. PICTURES TO BE POSTED TO STIMPY ALBUM SOON

Sounds like a great move for you folks, and good work getting the cabin finished enough for the start of winter -- wow, have you folks been busy. Welcome back and keep us all posted.

Hey Doug... mom and I were there this summer. Spent like 2 weeks on the big island... wondered if you ever made it there.... saw lots and lots of lots with new drives on them... there goes the neighborhood Crook
