Another Discovery!
I was at a friends home/office today and pulled up a really great desk chair to sit in. Herman Miller, Aeron, Highly Adjustable, Graphite Frame! The ultimate helm chair! Why not??!! Google it.
Non-corroding graphite, aluminum, or titanium. Light weight, great look, comfortable for hours and hours, adjustable for different helmspersons, swivels to dump you in the passageway . . .
All you have to do is cut down the little storage space under the seat!
I looked at "marine seats" and found some really expensive, classic, well known choices for fishing and helm. This is cheaper, and, because the market for executive office is so much larger, you get a lot more for your money. I'm bringing my tape measure to SBS!
