Well,
It is time to take the Sensei out of commision for a spell. Cry I have started the process of taking the fuel tanks out , stripping all the wires and thru transom bolts and whatnot , and removing the motor.I am prepping her for a transom rebuild. I will take her down to the factory for a well deserved Dr. appointment to get rid of the cancer in her arse Moon .

Could be fun boasting that you have a ______________(fill in the blank with your choice) arse for anyone who wants trouble! Smile

(Sorry-Time for a little fun!) Mr. Green

See ya' at the SBS/CBC!!! CoolSmile

Thanks for all the work! Beer

Joe.

This is a subject that came up a few times on the Boston Whaler site (continuouswave). There is a product out there that several members have used that requires you to open up the top of the transom and remove the plywood using various grinding techniques, then pouring this product in. It apparently works really slick, and is a permanent, solid fix. Might be worth looking into if you haven't heard of it before.

If you need a fishing fix This winter give me a call. I hope you have tht boat in the water by shrimp season. Are you going to change the configuration of the cockpit at all while you have the the back done??

I am thinking that they will replace the rotten wood with a new product called Penske Board. it is a fiberglas strandand foam type material that is used extensively in transoms of new boats. I believe that this is what will be used or something similar.

Ohh Yes, I might like a ride out for the elusive Blackmouth. and as to changing the configuration of the cockpit......Hmmm one never knows.....lol.....

Have you give any thought to mounting your engine(s) on a bracket to open up more cockpit space? If you are rebuilding the transom now might be the time.

Roger,
Will they let you keep the glove?
Shocked

Congrats on finally getting in for the rework. It'll be better in the spring, when you can get back on the water.
