For us Upper Left Coast year-round cruisers, the Wallas is ESSENTIAL! YMMV...

Yes -- I would agree to get the Wallas, wherever you are, even though I'm not very happy with mine this morning. In prep for the hurricane I turned it on last night and all went normal until it backfired and a 2" shot of flame went out the exhaust (I was standing by it when it happened, sounded like a .22 rifle) and now there is fuel running out the bottom of the burner can. This is not a good sign I think. |

Get the Wallas! When I ordered my boat in '02, I thought I wouldn't need the expence of the Wallas--- heck, I live in Southern California, what do I need a heater for? --- I had the Wallas installed this past summer-- should have ordered it from the start.
The Origo is a good stove, if thats all you want it for- I have one for sale. _________________ Roger
