Hello C- BRATS,
I am wanting to replace the front widows on my 1983 22 ft Angler with windows that open and would allow the incoming air to cool my cabin. My question is; Does anyone know of a manufacturer that makes the replacement window and frames?
Thanks for any leads or information you may have.

I can remember the OEM that C-Dory uses, (someone will pop up with that shortly), but ZI love my center opening window -- Oh it's me.. Diamond Glaze and they come from Canada I believe. Excellent quality and worth it.

The manufacturer is Diamond Sea Glaze.
They're not inexpensive, but make high quality products!
You will probably have to enlarge the center window opening when installing the new window, but that's a fairly easy job.
Be sure to tell them what year and model CD you have, as the Classic CD-22 (sometimes called an Angler and Pre-1987) and those made later (1987-2015) may have slightly different cabin molds, etc.
Good Luck, and keep us posted.

Hi take a look at my windows on the Ocklawaha Queen I live in central Fla and the open windows are not optional for me. I had a local guy cut my windows out and install the levers you'll see in the pictures. Once you go past 5 mph the cabin is very comfortable. I use two fans, one is for no wake zones it has a single clip and is a little noisy but moves the air on me just fine. The other larger fan ""Constant Breeze" I use on the hook or marina is found on Amazon just like the other fan and make my 16 Cruiser a Yacht. My install was a little over $500 and I never think about the price because I couldnt take the heat.Year round the air flow you can control is so worth it and when the water is splashing in over the front deck the fans make it work out untill you are on another tack and can open them again. _________________ The trouble is we think we have TIME Buddha |

I bought a front opening window for my 22 at Motion windows.
http://www.motionwindows.com/marine-windows/
Expensive but not quite as much as diamond sea glaze and is a US company.
The company was very easy to work with and the window is comparable to the Sea Glaze windows,
Fit was good and installation was easy. |
