Mary and I will be having lunch with Jeff and Karen Siegel (they own and run Active Captain) on Tuesday (12/9) in Cocoa, FL.
We have used and enjoy AC, and we're both very anxious to meet this incredibly creative couple.
If there are any burning AC issues you would like us to mention, please let us know!

Tell them THANKS!!! I'm on a three cruise in Southwest Florida from St. Petersburg to Fort Myers and back and I've told every marina that I read about them on Active Capt. and would post good thoughts. That made the marinas happy!!
AC is known in the marina business big time! |

Say high to Jeff and Karen for us--and if you get a chance to pet the pups, do that. They spent Thanksgiving 2013 with us--wonderful brilliant folks who have done a lot for all of us boaters! (Also get them to bring the boat around to the West Coast!

...maybe AC should be named: Very Active Captain!
We had a great lunch yesterday and enjoyed meeting both Jeff and Karen. Lordy, talk about an engerized couple; just Amazing. The lunch conversation was non-stop for three hours.
Both of us love Active Captain, but getting to meet/know Jeff&Karen was a very special treat. It's amazing to get-to-know some of the 'back story behind AC. Truly inspired. Mary really likes AC's new eCard features, and it sounds like there are several new features coming to AC in the near future.
After a couple months at Cocoa (FL) they will be at the Miami Boat Show (on their DeFever 53 "aCappella," not in a booth...), then headed over to the Bahama's for about three months.
