Greetings 'Brats!

After a lot of thought and discussion, Mary and I have decided to rename Katmai.

The new name is "Dessert 1st," which we feel better describes where we are in Life. We are at the phase where we simply want our dessert first ... so that's the new name!

Naturally we'll do a "proper" renaming ceremony at our next CBGT!

Tyboo: Can you change our album name to Dessert 1st, and (possibly) reference it to the former Katmai name as well? Thanks.

Best,
Casey&Mary

Great idea! The name suits perfectly for you two. Great attitude and proven nutritional advice. Chocolate has twice the nutrition of carrots. CoolSmile Carolyn and George Thumbs Up Neptune will be easy to appease. Christen with a chocolate shake from DQ!

Casey,

Nice name and really good idea. George is right on the chocolate part. I like that the name is prominent enough to be able to see from farther away than across the dock. And I like that it is fitting for your philosophy and station in life.

I like your philosophy, and think that changing the boat name to fit it (and you two) is pretty neat. Go you!

You shouldn't rename boats. Seriously.

Casey and Mary

The new name looks great! Whoever did your lettering knew what they were doing. Good idea to start with Dessert first then you know you'll never miss the good stuff.

I know some say it is not a good idea to rename a boat but mine has been renamed twice and I've had nothing but good luck with the Out 2 C......the previous name on my 22 was "Knot Yankee". Nice name but I an a Yankee!
Talk to you soon!

Of all the boats I have owned that came with a name, I changed the name on all of them bar one. I kept that one only because the graphics were so well done.
When I was in the Royal Navy, several boats were decommissioned and then brought back into service with a new name.
I like "Dessert 1st". Sure sounds better than "Pudding 1st" (there goes my English again!).

Martin.
