My son's 1st Halibut makes the local News!

Well I was pretty durn proud of him for fishing as hard as he did to make it happen.

It was 39 inches long. He did everything from dropping the bait to setting the hook and reeling it all the way to the boat. Very well done.

Ray -

I couldn't find a web copy of the picture that went with the article in the paper, so since I saved the sports section in case you wanted it, I scanned the thing.

The pic is great, and looks a lot better in the paper. The only thing missing is the cut-resistant glove on your left hand. It's good to teach them that stuff, too.

If the picture would have shown a bit more to the right the Sea Lion would have been in the paper too. That would have been really cool.
Anyway, I have another pic of the fish in our album.
I promptly went in for a hair cut Rolling Eyes
