I sent my wife to the factory yesterday to pick up a few items and once again must give them all the credit in the world. They truly stand behind their product, and have always been fair and helpful. They really seem to bend over backwards to make the customer happy. kudos to Brett for helping my wife, Vicki. C-Dory marine deserves all the success they've had; great boats made by great people! While at the factory, she happened to see some interesting new 22's....

I'd wait a few months until the new cat production is in full swing and then find a lot of "errands" for her to run at the factory. Why simply shoot for a new 22 when C-Dory makes bigger boats? _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Fishtales spent the past week at the factory having a few nips and tucks done. The gell coats was touched up, fixing all the stress cracks and a few dings, replacing the deck plates that were cracked and installing a new Wallas.
Saw the new TC 255 and Sealife (Mike's new 22)
We have been cleaning up the boat this morning and getting ready to cruise the San Juans with Joel and Sue (SEA3PO)
Thanks Roger (Sensei) for your wonderful hospitality _________________ Roger

Speaking of the factory. What a great bunch of people. Even though we have an 18 year old boat that we bought used, they have treated us like we were their lastest customers. Every one there has gone out of their way to help us out.
C-Dory, if your reading this,THANKS.
You have earned my loyalty. _________________ Terry, Ann & Chloe

In a way this thread is like preaching to the choir, but I know that prospective owners read this group, as I did before making our purchase.
After taking delivery of our boat last month, we were disappointed to see that the old style fuel tank mounting (screwd to the deck) system was used on it, and the fresh water tank was leaking into the cabin.
When I called the factory they told me to bring it by and they would fix it. I told them we had to get back to Louisianna because our vaction was running out. They not only glassed in the cleats, installed the new panels in front of the gas tanks, installed an upgraded water tank (including pressure testing it per my request), and one of the guys on the crew found a panel over the door that was mis-alinged, and fixed that too.
All this was done in two days, and with smiles and good feelings from all.
We are very impressed and grateful to C-Dory for not only making an exceptional boat in all respects, but for their exceptionally excellent service.
Kudos C-Dory, and thank you

Sometimes it is disadvantageous to live up here in paradise.
We are 2500 miles from Seattle by road and 1600 miles by water.........!!!!!!
Huummmmmmm........
Maybe a cruise is in order to get my boat to the factory. Lets see, at 17 mph cruise and 4 mpg it would take approx. 10 days and 400 gals of gas.
What a trip that would be.
How does the factory charge for work done on older CD's??? _________________ On the HIGH TIDE-II, wife Carolyn and I.....Another summer fishing on the HIGH TIDE II in the Cook Inlet at Cape Ninilchik, Alaska.
