May 2005: Thought you'd like to know about the article in the Thursday edition of the Bellingham Herald concerning Inati Bay. The headline read "Inati Bay off limits to boaters" Apparently only members of the Bellingham Yacht Club will be able to use it.
The third paragraph:
"The restriction includes both the property on shore and
anchorage in Inati Bay itself. Most underwater property
in Washington state is owned by the state & managed by
the Dept. of Natural Resources, but Lummi Island Land
Co. can trace its ownership of the bay to territorial times"
New news about Inati Bay in the July 1, 2005 issue of the Bellingham Herald:
INATI BAY ANCHORING RESTRICTION DROPPED
On the Web......A group called Boaters for Inati Bay Public Anchorage, challenging adjoining landowners' rights to restrict boaters from anchoring in the bay, has a Web site: www.inatibay.org

Well it's here, and old RF (me ) is stuck-at-home workin on his big-assed-can lol well not quite, I'ma takin the day off (it Sabbath after all ) goin' out on the little 550 Yami motorcycle for a big change. Avoiding the rat-race that has become of Whittier in the last few years, and gettin packed for our move is priority.
WB. I might just plop-baby (put RedFox in) that lake before we leave southcentral. Been eyballin' that lake like that since I was a little boy. Better enjoy it as it is, while it still is .
