Does anyone have a source/part number for the Perko NAV (green) light lens? I have a cracked lens and can't find any number on the lens. I found the whole light for $156. OUCH!

Jee iminy Sunbeam you've had 9 minutes to find this part number. You at dinner? Hi c weed. Perko is pretty good if you find the whole light on their site you can find the breakdown to order it. I think they can ship direct to you too. They keep old parts around too. The part number will be something like Fig345-grn or similar. They use fig a lot. Wink George

I bet if the light was $156 it was the LED version. Try to find the incandescent version of the same light and it will be a bit cheaper. That is, of course, assuming you can't buy individual parts like George suggested.

Ok, here's the whole thing for $39:

This got a laugh out of me. How could you know me so well already? Wink Actually, I was out and about. I was parked and waiting for something, so I was a bit bored and had pulled up the C-Brats forum on my phone to pleasantly while away a few minutes. I saw this thread and thought, "Two parts hunts in one day, fun!" -- but then "Nuts, I can't really participate from this tiny screen." Then I scrolled down and read your comment and it cracked me up (and made me feel welcome, too Smile)

Aren't the catalogs with figure numbers great? Usually a good sign that a company is "old fashioned" enough to carry spares (and to make it so you can find them) vs. just assuming you will buy a whole new one.

Sunbeam Hot

PS: Of course I had to look it up this morning while drinking my coffee (and this gave me a good nudge to look up the stock all-around light too, as I need some replacement parts for that).

Going from a photograph (no C-Dory here to look at Cry), it looks like a Perko 170 Series light. You've probably found it by now, but I'll put the info here in case it may help someone who finds the thread later via search.

(BTW, someone please correct me if this is not the correct fixture/series, and I will take steps to have this part of the post removed.)

I had a bit of confusion as I was looking this up, as my "old" (2008, paper) catalog (with figure numbers, George Thumbs Up) showed this light as the Perko "120 Series." But then the Perko online catalog showed it as the "170 Series" and the part numbers carried that number also (to further confuse the issue, there is a similar LED light, as folks above also noticed). Then I found this note on the Perko site:

"The old 12 volt 0120 Series lights are superseded by the 0170 Series."

So it looks as though these may have been 120 series lights when (many of) the boats were built, but are now 170 series (presuming I have the correct light; there are other brands that make a similar looking light, but since the all-around is Perko....)

Here is the Perko online catalog page for the green side light of the 170 series:
Perko sidelight, green:
http://www.perko.com/catalog/category/navigation_lights_under_20_meters/product/934/

That shows that the part number for the whole green light fixture is this:
0170BSD
Seems to be around $35 now.

For the lens:
0170BSDLNS
Seems to be around $20, so not that much of a savings. I guess that's because the whole fixture is not that expensive. On the higher-priced ones, replacing a lens is usually a much smaller percentage of the overall fixture price.

Sunbeam: Thanks for the information. I had stubled over the Perko sight in my search. But I could not locate just the lens or the price? To order: It seems you can't order direct from Perko. Do I search for the closest dealer and order from them?

Thanks all.

With Perko, yes, I believe you need to order through someone. Even then, they may go through one of the larger supply houses (not that that matters to you, once you have placed your order). I noticed that even in one of the bigger supply catalogs the lens was mentioned as a special order. Not necessarily a problem though, just doesn't look like many places routinely stock them.

I did search just the part number online earlier when I was looking it up, and there were one or two hits, but they were not places I'm familiar with.

West Marine, or any retail store with a wholesale account can order this for you. I used to have a Perko Account, and could buy direct--huge cost savings (about 70% mark up to the retail customer).

Found one NAV light lens at "Yacht Supply Depot". $18.90 for the green lens and the black cover. Part number (0170BSDLNS) If it shows up with two new screws I will be really impressed. Thanks again!
