C-Brat friends,
Our launch was a complete success. Didn't embarrass ourselves and had a fine time cruising the sunny Willamette. In fact, a bit too hot for Judy and Sharon sitting in folding chairs at the transom. Next trip we'll have the bimini up for shade. _________________ George & Judy Starbuck |

Well that's just great!
I know what you mean about the weather. We hit 96º today way down here on the coast. The hottest spot in Oregon, I heard.
So good to hear your maiden voyage was so good. We'll see you on the big river one of these days soon, I'm sure. _________________ TyBoo Mike

I hope the "four good friends" were drinking good beer! Life is too short to drink average beer! Meet up with us at Blakely, please!

Judy asks: Are there overnight facilities at Blakely? She's not much on sleeping in the 16' V-bunks! As a newbe, I need some info on the trip. Sounds like a perfect chance to meet some of you. I took the ferry to Blakely years ago and enjoyed the trip. |

Hmmm...I don't think there are overnight facilities at Blakely, just the marina and store. You should talk to the Brave Heart and Nine Inches crews, and others, about sleeping in the vee berth on a 16. I think lots of folks do it, how about it folks, who wants to chime in here?
