Our trip to P Louisa over Memorial Day is off (Patty has a list of excuses as long as my arm Sad ), but we ARE going out, it will be San Juans and Gulf Islands, probably a run to Tumbo Island off Victoria. So who else is going to be out crusing and where are you thinking of going?

Lyle, Tumbo Island is just north of Saturna's East Point. Last time I was there I pulled ashore on neighboring Cabbage Island, a cute little rock with a low, people-friendly western shore, interesting vegetation and a nice view across Georgia Strait. These days, however it might be a nature reserve, I don't know. I think Tumbo has a few mooring buoys on its west side. Nice place to visit. Not real well protected, as I recall.

Checking in at Bedwell likely would be most efficient for the above visit.
