This boat excites me.

If anyone knows the MPG differences between the CD22 and this boat (important) or any other knowledge regarding this boat--much appreciated.

PS: Please keep this one quiet (no linking to arima forums) if I ponce, no need to alert competition. Smile

That's a reasonable boat with nice motors. You realize that it doesn't have standing headroom, right?

That was one of the Q's I have for the sellers. So in order to have average standing room, the Arima 22 is where it starts?

That would be a problem for me.

Ok, back to the CD22 hunt.

Thanks!

If you look in the photos, you will see a hatch in the cabin floor. That comes out to give a bit more headroom. I think you would be happier with a CD 22, but these are nice boats. I had an Arima 17, Sea Ranger, and fish with folks that have the Arima 21s. If I were to go back to Arima, the 21 would be my first choice.

Good boat, low headroom in cabin. But the main issue is that the 130 is very heavy for that boat. I had the 130 on my 21 Arima HT and at 500 lbs I thought it a bit too heavy.

If you are interested it looks like a very good price depending on the hours, you will have to move fast.

Great boat and a great price. This boat is set up for great lakes fishing or walleye fishing with the planer board reel. I have had a nissan 9.8 and they are great running motor but have one flaw to me. In order to lock the motor in the up position you have to raise it with one hand and then reach to the left side down low to in gage the lock. And the lock often fails and the motor drops down in rough water. I used a small bungee cord to keep mine in the locked position.

they are a heavier boat then the cd and thats the reason for the larger motor. they do cut the chop better but it cost you fuel for the bigger motor.

The roof ,as others have noted, is kind of short. I'm 6 even and can not stand up in one. also the vberth is small and almost unuseable to sleep in for me.

Great day fishing boat that can handle the chop and get you out and back quickly. lots of storage for tackle boxes and a nice place over the motor to set up gear or clean fish. and I think there is a real fish box in there some where.

That kind of money puts you in striking distance of a number of 22 CD's.. But I'm not familiar with that boat. The comments on room and weight ring pretty big for me as I want to land and water cruise with my boat. Why buy a CD wanna be when you can have the real thing?

Since Arima's need larger engine than proportional C-Dorys, then the increase of fuel consumption/cost to operate is greater.

although it might burn more fuel the ride in any kind of chop will be much more enjoyable.

The arima web site is claiming 6ft 5 of head room? maybe that has changed since I have been in one 5 years ago. I would call the factory and double check that.

Miles please take a look at this boat. Nice boat with a lot of room to fish. The ride of the these boats is the best out there. I have watched them go by in the worst of weather with out pounding. There are three of this size on the local (seattle) craigslist. One with gas, one with diesel and one with a large outboard. this is the cheapest of the three.[/url]

Tom, I think that is with the center floor panel removed. Take about 8 inches off the 6'5" if it is left in place..

Looks sweet.
Note: the double axle trailer might be for a heavier boat. Hence lower fuel economy.
