Congratulations, I looked at them on online and thought they looked like a great boat. What kind of power? I hope you enjoy the inland passage.

It has the 150 Suzuki. I couldn't find alot of info on the seaway 25 since Harry Farmer sold out to Eastern Boats. I took it out on lake Ponderay in Idaho and i like the way it runs. This is My first Suzuki I didn't know a lot about them but I guess there a good motor? |

Nice boat , looked pretty close at them, as Laurie and I are about to pull the trigger on a new (used) boat. Not too many used ones out there and a new one was not in the budget. Congrats and look forward to hearing how it works for you. |

Looks a lot like the Rossborough. Congrats on the new boat - hope you enjoy your time on the water. The Suzuki is a good motor.
Best wishes,

thanks I'm Glad to here that about the Suzuki I was a little nervous about the all composite material there is no wood in the boat except the trim but is the boat as strong with a all composite hull? do the composites hold the hard ware as well as wood any thoughts would be welcome |

Hasn't someone posted this brand of boat before? I remember commenting on how it resembled Merv & Kathy's boat (Rosborough), as Jim noted. And we love our Suzuki 150. Quiet, dependable and so far, 100% trouble free. _________________ "We can go over there...behind the 'little one'....."

There were a couple of threads about this boat. One I started called Interesting boat. and another called Seaway Coastal Cruiser Downeast 25??? by Hank Schneider. Go to home page and do a search you should see the threads. The Suzuki motors use a little different gearinng letting them swing better props. Plenty of folks here speak well of them, can't be bad. Enjoy the boat.

Hi Doug,
Looks like a great boat for the Inside Passage or Lake Powell.
How far north do you plan to go this year?
New Moon should be on the road toward Prince Rupert in a few days, probably heading though Thompson Falls early next week. _________________ Richard Cook

if someone is looking to purchase a boat like that, they should first call "BYRDMAN" . i spoke with byrdman last week, he has a new rossborough, like the one posted here, for sale, at an unbelievable price!

YA the rossi is a nice boat too. I looked at a couple of them. before i bought the seaway, the combination of the head being up with a shower as well as only needing 150 hp to push it 33 knots made me decide on the Seaway the fuel economy is very good Had I know about Byrdman's boat i would have considered it. |

33 knots on a 150? What is the hull shape on that boat? |
