|
|
My CD has two fuse blocks with 10 fuses each for various things on the boat. 1/3 of the spots do not work and basically are a POS.
I am looking for a fuse block with spade fuses that will accommodate 20 fuses. It does not need any grounding capability as my present grounding block is adequate and works well.
Any ideas please????
Thanks,

I couldn't find a fuse block for 20 circuits. You'll probably have to replace the two fuse blocks with two new fuse blocks. I'd recommend the Blue Sea Systems blocks. They're well made and if you get the ones with the covers, you can easily label each circuit - imagine that, labeled circuits! (I wish the people who wired boats were required to label all fuses). Here's a link to the Blue Seas product. _________________ Roger on Meant to be |

Jack,
Just out of curiosity, can you find a maker/importer name on the fuse blocks? I have a 2005 C-25 and it came with reasonable wiring and switch panel plus fuse blocks. Or is your boat one made before C-Dory took over the molds?

Jack - I believe that West Marine carries Blue Sea stuff. I know Fisheries Supply in Seattle carries it. They would probably ship to Alaska. |

Check around on prices for Blue Seas stuff. West is probably the most expensive. While I don't mind paying the premium when I buy in store, I don't see much sense in doing so via mail-order.
I redid my entire boat with Ancor and Blue Seas. Check out my photo album if interested. I did the work a while ago, and it is holding up very well.

Thanks a bunch! I am not the neatest wirer, here, either. Some guys make it
look like art. But, what I did is functional, proper, and should last a long time.
Some of the coils of wire are spare runs. I ran an extra 10 gauge positive and
neutral forward in case I want to power radar or something similar that is
power hungry.

I totally rewired behind the dash using two Blue Seas fuse blocks. It came out excellent and even looks like I knew what I was doing. All labeled.
The only thing in-op is the anchor light and it did not work before and I don't anchor at night. |

West will match online competition in-store -- all you have to do is ask and show them the price you want them to match.
