I'm looking at a 2008 C16 Cruiser on a road runner trailer.

I'm trying to figure out if it will fit in my garage.

Does anyone know what the minimum clearance is for this boat?

Thx!![/img]

I think you are going to have to measure it. There are quite a few variables; the way the trailer is set up, is it a bunk or rollers, what's on top of the boat, is the trailer tongue articulated, how high is the open door and how deep is the garage. As you know, the cruiser has a few inches higher cabin than does the angler, stick a gps puck on the roof, not to mention a radar, and you won't make it through an 8' door opening. At least our boat can't.(If the opening was 8 1/2 feet high it would fit pretty easy). Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

My '99 16' Cruiser was 7'4" tall with nothing on the cabin roof and on an EZ-Loader trailer (with rollers). Its' length from the tongue of the trailer to the rear (with the engine down) was 20'6". (When I added a Go-Light on the cabin roof, it was then 8'0" tall).

If things are really close, you can always use the trick I used with my old travel trailer. Cool
Buy a set of rims from an auto wrecker and put them on in place of the trlr. wheels when you are storing the boat. Using rims without the tires will gain you 4 - 6" of clearance. Wink
